The East- Ramachandra; Your Good Health, Vitality and Optimism

October 16, 2016 By nikunja Leave a Comment

East - Sun 300pxThe qualities of the East

The Quality

The Eastern direction brings us the Sun’s vital life force. Therefore balancing the space in this area directly nourishes our health and well being. The Eastern energy originates from the rotation of the earth on its own axis as well as from orbiting the Sun. This energy flow from East to West is the solar life energy corresponding with the electric field. This direction, being associated with the Sun, stands for truth and light. The Sun, as origin of other planets, represents the “self” of the whole universe. It’s qualities are warming, vitalizing, catalyzing and male, and it strongly affects the father-son relationship in the house.

The Do’s

  • This area should be kept open, clear and light to allow as much of the therapeutic morning Sun to enter your space.
  • Large windows are always well placed here.
  • The best use of the East is a main entrance, reception, study, altar, healing room and bathroom without toilet.
  • It is a good place for a garden.
  • The energies of this direction support initiation of new projects from here.

The Don’ts

  • The East should not be used as a storeroom
  • nor should it be the highest part of the house.
  • A downward slope towards the East is conducive for this energy entering your plot of land

Possible outcome of weak Vastu in the East

The heart area of the Vastu Purusha body are affected by the quality of the East direction as is your own heart and blood circulation. Over time, weak Vastu in this area has been connected with character weakness, lack of willpower, heart diseases, circulatory disorders and skin and back problems.

The Remedy

  • If you are unable to utilise any or all of the positive functions for the Eastern part of your space, then I highly recommended the use of Vastu correction tool such as the Ramachandra Yantra to help strengthen it.
  • A Ramachandra Yantra can be installed in the East on your plot, building, room or apartment for generating and amplifying all the positive energies of the East. A Sri Yantra or Meru Chakra and Vastu pyramid will do well, installed and positioned here by displacing any unbalanced and negative energies with all the positive qualities in your space, your energy and your life.

The Positive Outcome

The Eastern direction awards the gifts of good health, legal stability, steadfastness and optimism. It provides you with the boost of energy to begin new projects from.

10 Tips to maintain your yantra power

  • Energized Yantras are immediately “tuned in and turned on” so to speak. The ritual of energizing Yantras with a puja or installation ritual, ensures you to receive maximum benefit from the moment of installation and you will feel an immediate sense of peace and joy and a lightness in the atmosphere. You may also feel more energised.
  • Each Vastu Yantra awards you with its unique gifts. Each directional avatar (Lord) can bless you with qualities that are missing in your life. ( They are summarised at the back of each yantra)
  • You may experience a range of positive experiences over a course of time; such as a shift in a mental block or release from depression as well attainment of your specific desire. The process is as unique as we are individuals, there are no hard and fast rules.
  • If the yantra installation procedure seems too difficult, then you may offer only one or more of the mentioned items. The primary ingredient of a successful installation is the mantra recital (see mantra card in yantra set ). It activates the yantra by invoking its presiding Personality, just as you do when you call upon someone to help you.
  • The sincerity of your chanting is effectually as potent as the success of your transformation and you are not limited to chanting just three mantras. As with most things, the more energy you put into it the better the result. (see footnote)
  • You can play the specially designed Vastu Sacred Mantras Cd as a pronunciation guide to the mantras. The sacred sounds create a conducive mood for installing your yantras.
  • The yantras do not ever yield any negativity, however meditating on any negativity in your life just yields more negativity so be wary to avoid this by focusing on the positive aspects of life that you want to achieved
  • Some factors determine their success; especially in regards to the sincerity of the Yantra owner. There may well be will be issues to work out and experiences to be had before you can achieve your desire.
  • By installing a Vastu Yantra however, you have some steps to cleansing your karma and creating an opening for new possibilities in your life.
  • You can maintain the potency of the yantras by ‘charging’ them up with chanting its mantra, either everyday (it only takes a few seconds) or at regular intervals or whenever you feel inspired to.

always-believe-something

Footnote: I recommend to chant a fixed number of mantras everyday. At least for the initial 45 days for maximum, powerful results. However if you are unable to do this, then please don’t worry as the act of depicting your yantra with even three mantra chants, yields positive benefits.

Six functions of Vastu Floor Plans

floor-plan-image

Your Vastu Floor Plans

  1. The floor plans of your building and rooms are converted into Vastu Floor Plan compass point charts. This is an integral part of your Vastu analysis. It is essential to know the relationship between the property under analysis and the orientation of the eight compass points of the premises. (Vastu considers the four cardinal points and the four sub cardinal points; i.e. North, Northeast, East etc.). Once this relationship has been established it is used as the basis for the analysis.
  2. In the creation of the Vastu Floor plans a blueprint of the property is oriented North and situated on a grid dividing the building into 64 energy grid field for a home and 81 energy grid field for a business. These divisions can assist you in determining the best use of the different areas of your building.
  3. The floor plan is surrounded by plaques depicting the planet, element, ruler (deva) and Avatar associated with each direction. You can explore the qualities of each direction and understand what is has to offer you.
  4. The Vastu Purush; the human shaped deity of the building who is also referred to as the Symbol of Life Space, is depicted on an additional floor plan with his head lying in Northeast and his feet in the Southwest.
  5. The Energy Entrance Calculator is the third Vastu Floor plan you will receive in a consultation. It will show you the quality of the energies as they enter your premises, through windows and doors etc. You can also see where positive energy flow is blocked and set about ‘opening it up’ with various vastu tools under our guidance.
  6. Please note where the eight compass points enter through the walls of your building. These points will be used to help you place the respective Vastu Yantras in their own directions.

Five Benefits Of Vastu Yantras in Your Home

May 29, 2016 By nikunja 2 Comments

1 inch yantra fan out 3Vastu Yantras are strategically placed in your home or workplace. The act of depicting a Yantra becomes a unique and personal experience for you, as it marks the beginning of your own transformation. They are considered to be the most effective remedial measures in Vedic Astrology and Vastu.

  1. Once Vastu yantras are installed onto your walls, it is as if they become one with your building and begin to benedict you with their power and protection.

  2. Vastu Yantras can affect us positively on all aspects of our life. They strive to bring balance and harmony within our system by working to fill in ‘missing pieces’ of our environment.

  3. They also represent the seven main chakras within our body and can also used as chakra balancing tools, again harmonising and energising your system within yourself, as well as your external environment in which they are placed.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                           meditation and seven chakras

  4. These Vastu yantras are not designed to bring any inauspicious or negative energy to anyone, but rather help us to align the body of our microcosmic living space with the macrocosmic pulse of the universe and it’s source; the Supreme Being, the Supreme Personality of Godhead.                                                             Through the medium of our heart chakra flows love and divine union (yoga) with the Lord in His many incarnations or Avatars. They descend in various yugas or millenniums in order to deliver and protect Their devotees.

  5. Yantra can help to balance your mind by focussing upon it. When installing your yantras so that they become manifesting tools, you can take this opportunity to address the issues in your life that you want to resolve. Let go of the old and make space for your new paradigm shift with the science of these ancient yantras.

  • Change your belief about Money
  • Improve your health and well being
  • Get in touch with your higher or spiritual self
  • Become more aware of your unique gifts and be recognised for it.
  • Create a space in which you can communicate honestly and openly
  • Have more fun and love in your life and so much more.

Consider for a moment what you would like to transform?

6 Ways Vastu Yantras Balance Spatial Energy

May 29, 2016 By nikunja Leave a Comment

1_inch_yantra_fan.png_med

What is a Vastu Yantra ?

There are thousands of different types of yantras, however in the art of Vastu, twelve specific and authentic yantras are used as space correctional tools.

  1. According to ancient Vedic tradition the Avatars (incarnations of Krsna) are the presiding controllers of the four cardinal points and as well as the four sub directions. They reside within the various points of the respective Vastu Yantras, and once invoked by their respective mantras, they open our minds and hearts to Their transformative power.
  2. Yantras have been used in Vastu for thousands of years in order to balance defects on the energetic and karmic plane. Simply by applying yantras, the energetic quality of a room is being influenced, especially if it is applied to one of the energetic key points of a room.
  3. Corrections applied on the physical plane such as changes in the building structure are especially important, because those changes most directly affect the overall energy situation. However, a deeper level of Vastu is the karmic plane, focussing on the combination and interaction of planetary influences inside the house. Such subtle means of correction are effective, because Vastu qualities mainly affect the subtle plane, and therefore one can also find counteracting means on this plane using Yantras
  4. This effect is due to the Geometric elements: In general, yantras are made of complex geometric elements, which form a geometric whole that creates a dynamic field of force or matrix of energy.
  5. If you look closely at a Vastu Yantra you can see Sanskrit names of the Avatars and astrological symbols representing the effectual planets. One or more of the 5 great elements (Earth, Water, Air, Ether and Fire) and the Devas or Universal maintainers of the cosmos, are also automatically included within their respective yantras.
  6.  The Avatars govern the spiritual level of our being and all the other levels; Geometric, Karmic, Energetic are working as subservient to that principle. This explains why wearing a Yantra or concentrating upon it bestows spiritual and astrological benefits.

The Centre of Your House

May 2, 2016 By nikunja Leave a Comment

Vastu Purusha 300pxthe centre

The Quality of the Centre

  • The Centre of a building is known as the Brahma sthana or the place of Lord Brahma.
  • Brahma is the sub creator of the universe, and he also resides on the middle of the Vastu Purush’s body in the centre of every building.
  • The other devas or demigods, personalities and sages who are also surrounding the Vastu Purush are all subservient to Brahma, he is therefore given honour and respect in this place.
  • The centre is considered to be sacred space and represents our inner sanctity and inner peace.
  • The Vastu Purusha (see his image in Yantra above) embodies the spirit of the building and is responsible for its well-being, is centered here.
  • He supports the convergence of directional energies.
  • He is the Symbol of Life Space and he lies with his head directed towards the Northeast, his feet to the Southwest and his joints are located in the two dynamic directions, the Northwest and the Southeast.

The Do’s

The Best Room functions for the Centre of your home and business;

  • Having an open centre or skylight window to allow light and air from above to enter your space is the best Vastu for here.
  • Meeting, socialising and relaxing with close or intimate friends, family members or business partners.
  • If there is no open space in the centre of your house then use the centre for neutral activities such as as a dining room, living room or spacious hallway or a room that leads to other rooms.
  • A centre roof should slope towards the East and North.
  • The walls in the centre of house should be white
  • In India, the sacred tree, Tulasi, is usually kept in the centre of the courtyard. Circumambulating this holy tree cleanses the aura and uplifts the consciousness.

The Don’ts

  • Avoid keeping heavy storage or immovable items in the centre area since the subtle Ether element needs ‘space’.
  • No clutter and clear space as much as possible.
  • Any fire element here may increase any digestive disorders but of course electricity is unavoidable since it is everywhere, so try to avoid electrical heaters and fireplaces.
  • A kitchen is not positioned auspiciously here
  • Nor is a staircase
  • Nor a bedroom
  • Nor a toilet

The Negative outcome of Poor Vastu Has shown the following problems:

  • Unsteadiness of mind
  • Restlessness
  • Anxiety
  • Problematic family relations and emotional trauma

For Your Business

  • Creativity stifled
  • Dissatisfied customers and staff

Diseases fostered by long term weak Vastu in the Centre include

  • Digestive disorders
  • Stomach-aches
  • Mental instability

The Vastu Remedies

You may be unable to utilise all of the positive functions for the centre area. However you can by make use of Vastu tools for generating and amplifying all the positive energies the Centre has to offer you.

  • Install the Vastu Purush Yantra (see figure at top of page) at an auspicious day and time in the centre point of your home, either on the wall or ceiling with the head of the vastu purush pointing towards the Northeast.
  • Around the Yantra there is a geometrical structure made of three circles, in which the 32 directions of the sky are named and numbered. This structure has the effect of an antenna and at the same time of a mechanism, which strives to align the microcosm of your living space with the macrocosm of the universe.
  • Attune yourself with the energies of these Yantras and Mantras and go within yourself to become grounded and centred.
  • And try to ensure there is clear open ‘space’ here but this may not always be possible.
  • If that’s the case then it would be a good time to install the activated Vastu Pyramid in the centre of your building. The powerful Vastu Maha Purush Mandala is also contained within the centre of pyramid.

The Positive outcome using Vastu Principles

  • Positive Vastu here can create an environment that is supportive for overall good health, peace within ourselves and in our dealing with others.
  • We can utilise the energy here to get more in touch with our inner peace and calmness.
  • Mental and emotional stability and other positive health benefits are further benefits to be received.

The Northwest-The Direction of Relationships

March 24, 2016 By nikunja Leave a Comment

Relationship Yantra

NorthwestThe Quality

The Northwest, under the sway of the Moon, governs your emotional and mental stability. The Moon represents the female principle in the universe and therefore forms the polar opposite of the Sun. The Sun represents the self of the cosmos and the Moon its spirit. The polarity of the Sun and the Moon can also be found in love and willpower, activity and passivity, mind and body etc. The Moon influences your emotional and mental well-being and also affects your intellectual capabilities. The Northwest area influences the quality of your relationships but equally it affects the success of your business endeavours;  since communications, personal interaction and exchange of ideas are fundamental building blocks to your expanding business.

The Do’s

Do draw upon the colours from the Vasudev yantra when deciding the colours to use for your interior decor and especially cream and whites are compatible for the Northwest.                       The Best use of the Northwest:

  • It is helpful to maintain a flow of activity i.e. as much movement as possible here. This is conducive for generating the vital element ‘Air’ to flow and get important projects moving ahead.
  • It is well suited as a guest reception, or a recreational or social room
  • A Guest room
  • Bookkeeping in a home office
  • Trading /Sales
  • Family meetings; since this is a great area for creativity and exchanging ideas

  • Children’s bedroom

The Don’ts

  • Avoid keeping heavy immovable items in the Northwest since the air element needs space for circulation.
  • No clutter
  • Any fire element here will increase your expenses but of course electricity is unavoidable since it is everywhere, so try to avoid electrical heaters and fireplaces.
  • Please try to avoid any missing Northwest segments and corners in the structure of building
  • Northwest building extensions which cause it to be further extended than the rest of the building are inauspicious.

The Negative outcome of Poor Vastu Has shown the following problems:

  • Moody behaviour
  • Unsteadiness of mind
  • Irresponsibility
  • Fickleness
  • Inconsistency
  • Confusing communications
  • Excessive use of alcohol and/or food
  • Problematic family relations and emotional trauma

For Your Business

  • Trading figures down
  • Losses from high expenses
  • Inaccurate bookkeeping
  • Creativity stifled
  • Dissatisfied customer

Diseases fostered by long term weak Vastu in the Northwest include:

  • Respiratory and
  • Digestive disorders
  • Stomach-aches
  • Eye diseases
  • Mental illnesses and mental instability
  • Psychosomatic diseases

The Vastu Remedies

Improve your relationships and the quality and effectiveness with which you communicate and exchange ideas. Utilise Vastu tools for generating and amplifying all the positive energies mentioned above.          You may not be able to utilise the positive functions for the Northwest area but you can take some remedial steps to realign your space.

  • Install the Vasudev Yantra (see figure at top of page) at an auspicious day and time or on any Monday.
  • Attune yourself with the energy of this Yantra and Mantra and you can learn to harness the lower mind and access your higher mind.
  • Strategically place either the activated Vastu Pyramid or the Meru Chakra  and Sri Yantra on the Northwest point of your home.
  • And try to ensure there is a constant flow of air and movement. You can place a wind chime hanging from the ceiling here.

The Positive outcome using Vastu Principles

Positive Vastu here can create an environment that is supportive for healthy relationships by helping you be more in touch with your creativity and intuition. You can also be awarded success in business endeavours as well as have mental and emotional stability and other positive health benefits listed in organs above.

The West- Direction of Wisdom and Learning

                             Kurmadev yantra                                                                                           Kurmadev Yantra

the west

The Quality:

The Western direction, under the powerful weight of Saturn, is the cosmic disciplinarian. Yet a deeper understanding and experience of this direction’s influence brings wisdom and maturity.                                                                                               Saturn is considered to be a malefic among the main planets, if it is manifesting its negative aspects, while its positive aspects are of great importance, especially to spiritual life. It bestows one with discipline and renunciation, and fosters solitude and asceticism. It confronts man with suffering and pessimism and represents time. It brings all things closer to their natural ending or death. It can be felt anywhere where things degenerate, are being destroyed or lose their power.                                                      A strong Saturn is the basis for everything which should last in this world, awarding a good reputation, fame and scholarship abilities. Whereas a weakened Saturn may lead to delays and depression.  This direction mainly affects sons within the home or junior male staff within the office.

The Vastu-To Do’s

  • Used for heavy storage. The negative or used up energies that are associated with this direction should ideally be ‘weighed’ down, i.e. with heavy storage.

  • Rheumatism as well as
  • Gallstones and
  • Weak bones and teeth.

The Positive outcome using Vastu Principles

Provide yourself and family members the support, structure and discipline and energy for daily duties and regulated chores as well as to complete projects with successful outcomes.

Vastu Yantras As A Means Of Balancing Spatial Energy

Corrections applied on the physical plane such as changes in the building structure are especially important, because those changes most directly affect the overall energy situation.

  • However, a deeper level of Vastu is the karmic plane, focussing on the combination and interaction of planetary influences inside the house. Such subtle means of correction are effective, because Vastu qualities mainly affect the subtle plane, and therefore one can also find counteracting means on this plane using Vastu Yantras.
  • Yantras have been used in Vastu for thousands of years in order to balance defects on the energetic and karmic plane. Simply by applying Vastu Yantras, the energetic quality of a room is being influenced, especially if it is applied to one of the energetic key points of a room.
  • This effect is due to the Geometric elements: In general, yantras are made of complex geometric elements, which form a geometric whole that creates a dynamic field of force or matrix of energy.
  • According to ancient Vedic tradition there are eight specific Avatars of Sri Krsna, who are the Lords of the eight compass points of any given building. They also reside within the geometry of their  unique Vastu Yantra. Therefore when each Vastu Yantra is installed in its associated compass point in any home, they begin to recharge the space uplift the consciousness through their transformative power. This energy strives to align the vibration of our energy field to that of the pulse of universe.
  • In the Vastu Yantras are the names of the Avatars and astrological symbols representing the effectual planets, all written in Sanskrit. This language of the Devas vibrates on a refined and high frequency, it therefore carries shakti or potency.
Kurmadev yantra -Kurmadev Yantra for the West of your home. It is influenced by the planet Saturn who grants Discipline and Success
  • The Avatars govern the spiritual level of our being and all the other levels; Geometric, karmic, Energetic are working as subservient to that principle.
  • This explains why wearing a Yantra or concentrating upon it bestows spiritual and astrological benefits.
  • There are thousands of different types of yantras, however in the art of Vastu, twelve specific and authentic Yantras are used as space correctional tools.

Who is the Vastu Purush?

The  Story of Vastu Purush

The ancient texts (Matsya Purana) have depicted variations in how Vastu Purush actually manifested on Earth in various cycles of creation.

At one time, the Creator Brahma was inspired by the Supreme Lord Visnu to create a multitude of subtle and gross bodies for all types of beings. As he attempted to create the ‘aura’ a formless, chaotic and unrestrained cosmic male appeared, who was later given the name Vastu Purush.

During another cycle, Vastu Purush was instead created by the sweat of Lord Siva whilst he was in battle with evil forces. Vastu Purush meditated upon Lord Shiva so devoutly that Shiva was compelled to grant Vastu Purush a boon. However, when Vastu Purush asked that Lord Shiva would make him so powerful that he could devour the 3 planetary systems, since he was very hungry, Vastu Purush’s intentions caused the celestial beings and devatas (universal rulers) to became very fearful and perturbed. With blessings from Lord Visnu, Lord Brahma helped them devise a plan to arrest him before he could undertake such a catastrophic task.

In both these incidences Vastu Purush was thrown to Earth and the Avatars of the Lord, devatas and sages sat on him and pinned him face down.

Peace and Harmony; The Vastu Purush Mandala

July 5, 2015 By nikunja Leave a Comment

  1. What is a Mandala?

In Vastu a mandala is a geometric form directed towards a centre, giving space a certain order, reflecting a natural order of the universe. A mandala expresses energy networks and spiritual relations in geometric and coloured symbols. Mandalas have specific geometrical meanings, psychological effects, metaphysical implications and spiritual notions because they represent physical energies, psychological emotions, Devas, cosmic principles and spiritual (divine) personalities. A mandala maybe a square, triangle, hexagonal or octagonal and contain manifold forms and geometric nets depending on time, place and circumstances, and the personality whose energies are being conveyed.

The Beneficial Access  Auspicious qualities of various Avatars and Devas (celestial rulers) are assigned to a particular mandala to give mankind beneficial access. Meditating upon an activated mandala provides a subtle connection with the energy or personality behind the geometric form.

Vastu Purusha 300pxVastu connects each energy and abstract principle with an expressive personality. In Vastu the aspect of personality is considered to be more encompassing because it is connected to consciousness, intelligence and spirit.

In the Mayamata Vedic Text it is stated: “You should know that the Vastu Purush has 6 bones, a single heart, four vulnerable points and four vessels. He lies on the floor with his head towards the Northeast.”

What is Vastu Purush Mandala? The Vastu Purush symbolises the cosmic human being or the Symbol of Life Space and his Mandala is divided into 64 or 81 equal squares upon a plot of land. Upon these squares lie 45 Devas and their respective positions to each other results from the division of the Mandala. By aligning our buildings and plot of land with the Vastu Purush Mandala, we can more readily access positive energies available for our own healing, growth, success and empowerment.

The Vastu Purusha Mandala or Universal Energy Grid is known in Vaastu science as the subtle atom of energy. In this context it contains the whole life blueprint

Human existence is strongly influenced by three aspects:

    1. The physical, social and material environment    2. The inner mental thoughts of the self, intelligence and ego.    3. Energies from the universal and divine realms (Elements, Planets, Demigods, Avatars)

The Vastu Purush Mandala Projects Peace and Harmony

The Vedas state that the cosmos reflects a universal transcendental consciousness of perfect intelligence, which creates and penetrates the world as an ecstatic ‘energy pulse’. This cosmic energy pulse manifests as the perfect Mandala, in which all elements of creation interact as perfect dynamics and harmony. It enters our buildings through the Vastu Purush Mandala who is an embodiment of these cosmological principles. He represents the blueprint of a perfect building and connects us with our physical, karmic and mental aspects through our immediate dwelling.                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Using the science of Vastu Purush Mandala and Vastu architecture we can align our dwellings to this universal rhythm and create perfect energy flow for peace and harmony.

How your space supports your relationships?

September 1, 2013 By nandini Leave a Comment

Chart depicting the primary relationships affected by the eight directions

Relationship and Element Chart

The Northwest

Relationship Yantra

Northwest Yantra

The Northwest of your house is associated with the Moon. This direction offers perception and clear transmission of ideas, and affects our intellectual capabilities.

  • If there is a missing segment here or insufficient open space, it may cause lack of productive and heartfelt exchanges between family members.
  • This Vastu imbalance can manifest as mental instability and mood swings. An elongated or extended Northwest is shown to reflect fear of being cheated or abused – or even imagined difficulties that aren’t really there. Psychosomatic symptoms may manifest.
  • If the air element is being prevented from circulating through the whole room, apartment, house or office, by a blocked or heavy Northwest it reflects as emotional disturbances, fickleness and even addictions.
  •  The Northwest direction must be kept light, clear and support a flow of activity and movement in order to improve our loving relationships. This is conducive for productive exchanges for healthy relationships, bringing mental peace, love and sanity.

Center of House

Vastu Purush yantra

Vastu Purush yantra

The Centre of your building represents the solar plexus of the Vastu Purush.

  • A cluttered centre, or no open space in this part of house can cause anxiety and restlessness with lack of peace of mind within ourselves.
  • A toilet, kitchen and underground water tank in the centre of house may cause disagreements.
  • In times gone by, the innermost part of your space was reserved for close family members as it is the sanctity of your home.
  • An open and clear centre area becomes a good receptacle of energy flow from the eight directions, as well as providing easy access to all parts of the house and all parts of our being.
  • Ideally a skylight window placed here would brighten your whole space and lift your spirits for positive moods.
  • While present day architecture does not design homes with open courtyards in the centre, to allow the light directly into the house, in India you can still see many homes and all temples with this aspect.

What is a Yantra?

May 13, 2013 By vastusolutions 1 Comment

sri-yantra-on-silver-or-copper-copy

There is much to be said about yantras, Vastu yantras are discussed in more detail in other posts. Here are some basic bullet points mentioning their main mode of operation. Each yantra offers its own unique benediction, and there are as many types, as there are various desires. It is safe to say they may number in hundreds if not more.

  • Yantra literally means ‘instrument’ or ‘tool’ that especially ‘holds’ the essence of a concept, and helps your mind to ‘fasten’ on a particular idea and intention. They are used as remedial tools and work in mystical ways, offering us a opportunity for transforming negative traits into positive outcomes.
  • A Yantra is great cosmic conductor of energy, an antenna of Nature, and powerful device used since days of yore to invoke harmony, prosperity, success, good health as well as is conducive for yoga and meditation.
  • The mother of all Yantras is the Sri Yantra.
  • They serve to reveal symbols of our own inner cosmic truths and can act as portals to higher dimensions.
  • They are the microcosm representation of the macrocosm of the universe, serving to align our way of being with the powerful natural cosmic energy flow or with the personality or deity, the particular yantra represents.
  • In looking at a yantra, it is comprised of interlocking matrix of geometric figures, circles, triangles and floral patterns of elegance and beauty which the eyes and mind can concentrate upon to achieve higher levels of consciousness.
  •  Just as a building is hidden in architectural diagrams, similarly the power of any yantra lies dormant until activated its associated mantra
  • They are most commonly available in copper, and if you have the means, silver and gold yantras can also be commissioned. Yantras can also be drawn and written on paper. In ceremonies and festivals they are drawn with different coloured pigments onto the earth, like mandalas for immediate use for attracting auspicious energies.
  • If you are not familiar with yantra then perhaps a talisman would be the nearest description to fit it.
  • Recent scientific research has proved that yantras and mantras can raise your level of positive vibrations and uplift your consciousness.
