I read the Vastu Book and invited the Vastu consultant Nandini to my new family home. She confirmed my plot had a positive shape and slope. My panoramic views were also in a good area. She drew up floor plans showing best placements for items and furniture etc. It was also helpful to get interior decor guide for choice of colours according to the planets.

Vastu is the system of sacred geometry based on the Vedic wisdom tradition of India and is the art of creating harmonious, prosperous, sacred living spaces. Vastu dates to as early as 6000 BCE and is the design basis for archaeological sites like Harappa, Mohenjo-daro and Angkor Wat.

I’ve had the pleasure of being consulted on the Vastu of my family home by Nandini Mohindra a London-based Vastu consultant. Nandini guided me and my wife on the energetic transformation of our house using Vastu principles. The experience was educational, pleasant and inspiring and the outcome was a home that was a tangibly better living space.

Using a combination of Vastu yantras (colourful mystic diagrams), mantras (calming sacred sound) and a minor rearrangement of some home furnishings, Nandini helped us create a home that is more natural and complimentary to our personalities. She achieved this in part by referencing the symbolism of our Vedic astrological charts to ensure that each room in the house harmonised to its intended purpose.

Thank you Nandini for coming round and doing the vastu for us. We found you took your time and really made sure you did a thorough job including painstakingly making sure the directions were correct and not just relying upon our estimates which may be prone to error. We found the Vastu floor plans with the points of energy coming in various windows and doors very useful in conceptualising things and understanding.
