Vastu is not only important for the time we are awake, it is also equally important during hours each day that we spend asleep in bed.
When looking at bed direction, the most important thing is to be aware of which direction the head is pointing. This is because the North and South poles of the Earth each have their own magnetic polarity of positive and negative respectively. Our bodies also have their very own magnetic axis with the positive polarity at the head and negative polarity at the feet.
If you have ever played with two magnets you will know that when you try to touch together the two North polarities, or the two South polarities, they repel each other with some force. In the same way sleeping with your head (your body’s positive “North” polarity) in the North can cause extra strain as the polarities conflict.
In which direction does your bed point? Are you sleeping well, or are you restless at night? Perhaps you can try changing your sleeping direction for a different experience.
